The workflow management software DocumentLite is among the systems which installation and settings differ from classical program installation. As known during the installation of classical programs you need to start the distribution file and follow the standard procedure of program installation to hard disk.
However DocumentLite is not the standard program as the access to this workflow management software is carried out only in network. DocumentLite is the web interface of the program cover which are carrying out storage, management and data moving. To download the workflow management software and to establish it on the computer you should know some features.
UpravDok demands the presence of not only traditional OS Windows and some other standard applications on the PC but also such special programs as PHP (with the version beginning with 4.4), MySQL (with the version beginning with 4.1) and Apache (ith the version beginning with 1.3.33). As the practice shows the system DocumentLite can work faster if there are only Apache and PHP on the PC, and MySQL is available on the other PC in the network.
To download workflow management software and to establish the system you will need the archival distribution file upravdoc-setup.zip you can download from here.
Having downloaded the document workflow distribution unpack it to any folder. The unpacked distribution archive contains the folder WWW as well as the file script.sql. The folder WWW contents should be copied to the home folder of your Web server. After then you should create MySQL database and the user for it with full rights.
In the created database execute the script script.sql. Then set the options in the file user_params.php how it’s specified in here.
It’s necessary to restart only web server and to start to use the system. And don’t forget the login and the password you’d have set in the file user_params.php. Without them it will be difficult enough to get to the system;).
